The UNIMIG 150 Amp Spool Gun 6m, PLSP150A is a Binzel style MIG torch built for welding softer wires such as aluminium. The spool and drive system sit right at the torch, shortening the wire path so feeding stays consistent and the wire is far less likely to kink or birdnest. Maximum output is 150A, with a wire size range of 0.6 to 1.0mm.
The spool gun uses a clear plastic housing so the moving parts and remaining wire stay in view while you weld, and the motor is rated for a minimum service life of 1,000 hours. A rear cable support holds the wire on line no matter the angle you approach from, while the spool-on DURAFLEX performance cable delivers flexibility along with high heat and abrasion resistance across its 6m length.
Air cooled operation gives a duty cycle of 60% at 150A on CO2 and 60% at 130A on mixed gas, suiting panel repairs, alloy fabrication and general aluminium MIG welding.
