The Tridon thermostat in housing TT639-180P is an aftermarket replacement cooling-system thermostat designed to regulate engine coolant temperature accurately and reduce warm-up time. The bypass style design features a jiggle pin integrated into the housing and three bolt holes for a secure, rattle-free installation using your original engine components.
Set to open at 82°C, the thermostat allows coolant to circulate through the radiator once the correct operating temperature is reached, protecting the engine from overheating. A thermostat gasket is included in the pack, gaskets for this unit are not available separately, and the matching thermostat insert (Tridon part TT479-180P) is available if required.
