The Tridon Oil Filter Cap TCC008 is a direct OEM-standard replacement for cartridge-style oil filter systems on a wide range of Australian, Japanese, Korean and European vehicles. Manufactured from glass-filled nylon composite with high quality metals, it seals and retains oil in the filter housing to maintain correct lubrication system pressure.
Heat and repeated removal torque cycles can crack or distort an original filter cap over time, leading to oil leaks or low oil pressure. Replacing the cap at every service is best practice. The TCC008 retains the OE flute size and count, making it compatible with Toledo and Ryco oil filter removal tools, and is engineered to withstand a maximum tightening torque of 25Nm to exceed OE specifications. It suits Holden Barina and Cruze models fitted with filters interchangeable with R2694P or R2621P.
