The ToolPRO Stud Extractor and Installer Tool removes or installs seized or stubborn studs ranging from 6mm to 19mm diameter without damaging the threads. Simply slip the tool over the stud using the smallest hole that fits, insert your 1/2" square drive ratchet or breaker bar, and apply rotational pressure. The tighter the tool grips the stud.
The heat treated chrome plated carbon steel body resists corrosion and abrasion, making it reliable for manifold studs, head studs, main studs and any other threaded fastener that needs extraction or reinstallation. The design is equally suited to both removal of damaged studs and careful installation of new ones, preserving thread integrity in both directions.
