The ToolPRO Headlight Polishing Kit 17 Piece restores yellowed and oxidised headlight lenses to crystal clarity using a standard power drill. Yellow hazing develops over time on most vehicle headlights, dulling the beam and spoiling the appearance, but this kit removes it systematically with progressive abrasive grits and polishing compounds.
The kit includes an 80mm rubber and hook and loop spindle pad that secures to a drill chuck, plus 16 replaceable discs and pads: eight abrasive discs (two each in 240G, 320G, 600G, 800G, 1200G, 1500G and 2000G grit), one 80mm foam polishing pad, and one 80mm wool buffing pad. Start with the coarsest grit suited to the yellowing severity and work down to the finest, using soapy water as a lubricant. Once the haze lifts, polish with a headlight lens restorer on the foam pad, then buff to a showroom shine with the wool pad.
