The ToolPRO Brake Adjusting Tool is a 185mm double-ended tool designed for front and rear drum brake adjustment. Made from drop forged and heat treated zinc coated steel, it resists workshop wear and tear. Each end features a different taper angle to accommodate a wide range of brake designs.
This tool suits DIY mechanics and professionals adjusting park brake setups or drum brakes without auto adjusters. To use, jack and support the wheel, remove the dust cap, insert the tool through the access hole and lever the cogged adjuster to increase tension until slight resistance is felt when spinning the wheel. It also helps loosen the adjustment mechanism when removing brake drums where shoes catch the drum edge.
