The Toledo Oil Filter Remover 3 Jaw 125mm removes spin-on oil filters mounted in tight or hard to reach positions on a vehicle. The three metal jaws open to a maximum width of 125mm and close to a minimum of 60mm, allowing the tool to adjust and grip a wide range of filter sizes rather than needing a separate cap for each filter diameter. A 3/8" square drive ratchet or bar attaches directly to the tool, or the supplied adaptor allows it to be driven with a 1/2" drive instead.
Turning the tool anti-clockwise draws the three jaws inward, clamping the filter more tightly the harder it is turned, which keeps a hold on filters that resist standard strap or chain wrenches. The steel body carries a black oxide coating for resistance to corrosion and everyday shop fluids.
