The Toledo Heavy Duty DC Circuit Tester 6-24 Volt is designed to locate a break in 6V, 12V or 24V automotive electrical circuits that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye. A 121mm stainless steel probe on the end of a durable 100mm cellulose acetate handle can be used to probe bare wire, terminals or connectors, while a heavy duty crocodile ground clip attaches to the opposite end of the circuit via 1.5 metres of tough, flexible wire.
When the probe and clip are connected to opposite ends of a wire, the handle illuminates to confirm a live circuit; if it stays dark, the break lies between the two connected points. This circuit tester suits automotive electrical fault finding on vehicles running 6V, 12V or 24V systems.
