The Speco Meter Oil Filter Sandwich Plate Adaptor M22 x 1.5 547-53 is designed to enable fitment of electric oil pressure or oil temperature gauges on suitable engines. This oil filter sandwich plate fits between the oil filter and the engine block on an M22 x 1.5 thread, using a 2-3/4 inch O-ring to seal against the filter mounting face. Two 1/8 inch NPT ports accept standard electric gauge sender units, and the plate is 33mm thick including the O-ring.
The Speco Meter 547-53 suits Ford BA, BF and FG models using a Z516 type filter or equivalent across 6 cylinder and V8 variants, as well as 6 litre Commodore V8 engines. This adaptor is suitable only for electrical gauges, not mechanical gauge lines.
