The SCA Oil Filter SCO2701 is engineered to protect your engine during every start and throughout normal operation. Engine oil does more than lubricate moving parts: it cools the motor by carrying heat away from hotspots, captures microscopic steel particles that separate from cylinder walls during combustion, and transports contaminants into the filter where they are trapped. A worn or contaminated filter allows fresh oil to be instantly dirtied, shortening engine life and reducing protection.
SCA oil filters feature high-grade internal filtering media for improved efficiency and confident engine protection, coupled with a silicone anti drain-back seal that prevents oil from flowing backward through the filter during a cold start. This seal ensures even oil distribution throughout the engine when temperatures are at their lowest and protection matters most. The filter is housed in a sturdy body designed to fit original equipment specifications, and includes an oil filter cap seal to prevent leaks post-service. The SCO2701 is interchangeable with R2701P for direct replacement.
