The SCA Oil Filter SCO160 is engineered to trap contaminants and maintain oil flow in your engine. Beyond lubrication, engine oil serves multiple critical functions: it cools the motor and stabilises temperatures to prevent hotspots, and it captures fine steel particles that separate from cylinder walls during operation, transporting them away from moving components into the filter.
The silicone anti drain-back seal prevents oil from flowing backwards through the filter after the engine shuts down, ensuring that at cold start there is still even oil distribution throughout the engine.
