The SCA Copper Grease Tube with Nozzle 100G is a non-melt anti-seize paste engineered to prevent fastener seizure at extreme temperatures. High concentrations of copper and ceramic combined with special polymers create a water-resistant barrier that seals threaded fasteners against corrosion and weathering. Once applied to components subject to high heat and vibration such as exhaust manifolds, calipers and engine or gearbox mounts, this paste delivers easy disassembly without rounding bolts or requiring helicoil repairs.
Anti-seize compounds prevent the phenomenon known as tribocorrosion: the material degradation that occurs when corrosion and wear lock opposing metal surfaces together. The SCA formula maintains effectiveness across a wide temperature range from −45°C to above 1100°C, ensuring low break-away torques and predictable reassembly. A thin layer applied to the reverse side of brake pads eliminates the high-frequency noise created between pad and caliper. The tube's nozzle applicator makes precise placement straightforward, whether on threads or flat surfaces.
