The SCA Assembly Grease Tube with Nozzle 100G is a heavy-duty assembly and anti-seize compound engineered for maximum protection during engine, gearbox and differential running-in and assembly. Assembly pastes are super-slippery formulations with the lowest coefficient of friction and highest protection against loads, shock loading and wear. What distinguishes this assembly paste from typical automotive lubricating greases is its solid lubricant content (molybdenum disulphide, zinc and graphite), which can range from 30 to 50 per cent, combined with an advanced extreme pressure additive pack. This high solids concentration delivers weld loads exceeding 1,000 kg to protect newly machined or freshly assembled components until engine oil pressure and feed settle and components wet completely with sump oil.
The SCA Assembly Paste protects crank and camshaft journals and bearing caps, cam lobes, valve stem tips, lifter bottoms, timing chain gears and sprockets, and pinion and crown-wheel faces during critical running-in phases. Outside the engine bay, the paste excels as an anti-seize compound on stainless steel fasteners where copper pastes risk solder embrittlement, and as a boundary lubricant on press-fitted bearings, splined shafts under severe torque and slideways. The included nozzle applicator ensures precise, mess-free placement on critical friction points, while the polymer-enriched formula adheres strongly to metal surfaces and resists moisture even in humid conditions.
