The SCA AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid 5 Litre is a fully licensed diesel exhaust fluid for vehicles equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. It contains 32.5% urea (AUS 32) mixed with demineralised water in an odourless, non-toxic formulation that meets the ISO 22241 standard.
In an SCR system, the AdBlue solution is injected into hot exhaust gases where it releases ammonia. When this reaches the diesel particulate filter or exhaust catalyst, a reaction occurs that breaks down noxious gases into nitrogen, oxygen and water, reducing emissions to almost zero. The product is suitable for storage in its original package for up to eighteen months from the date of manufacture when properly stored below 30°C.
