Safari V-Spec Snorkel Volkswagen Amarok V6 SS1410HF is designed for Volkswagen Amarok V6 turbo diesel models (DDXC engine) built from 09/2016 on, fitting only models with factory flares already in place. By rotating the air ram to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of motion, the kit delivers additional protection from rain, dust and other airborne elements before they reach the engine. The raised intake point draws a large volume of cool, clean air into the stock air cleaner assembly, while the air ram acts as an effective water separator removing moisture from the incoming air stream.
Safari V-Spec Snorkel kits are manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, giving the body and air ram the strength to withstand sustained off-road use. This snorkel is suited to touring, towing and water crossings where protecting the induction system from dust and water ingress is a priority.
