The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Toyota Prado 150 Series SS188HFG is a raised air intake system engineered for Toyota Prado 150 Series vehicles fitted with the 2.8L diesel 1GD-FTV engine from 06/2015 to 10/2017. By rotating the air ram to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of motion, the air ram delivers additional protection from the elements, drawing cooler, cleaner air into the stock air cleaner assembly.
This V-Spec kit includes a new and improved air entry hose and is built in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, with the water separating air ram design removing maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow to the engine. The snorkel only fits vehicles equipped with the 1GD-FTV engine variant.
