The Safari V-Spec Snorkel to suit Volkswagen Amarok SS1400HF is designed to deliver a huge volume of cool, clean air into the stock air cleaner assembly of 2012 onwards Volkswagen Amarok 2.0L TDi400/TDi420 diesel engines. It suits Ultimate, Highline and Trendline models fitted with optional flares, and only fits on models with factory flares fitted, suiting CSHA (I/C twin turbo) engines. The raised air intake positions the inlet above the bonnet line, protecting the engine from water, dust and other harmful elements that a standard low mounted intake would ingest.
Snorkel manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, giving the body and air ram durability and UV stability for long term outdoor use. The water separating air ram design removes the maximum amount of water from the incoming air stream while still delivering maximum airflow to the engine, making this snorkel suited to river crossings and wet weather off road driving.
