The Safari V-Spec Snorkel LandCruiser 200 Series SS89HF delivers cool, clean air to Toyota 200 Series LandCruisers. It raises the air intake point above the bonnet line, keeping water and dust away from the factory air cleaner during river crossings, dusty trails and heavy rain. This snorkel fits 09/2015+ (MY16 facelift) models with the 4.5L V8 twin turbo diesel 1VD-FTV engine, but does not suit the GX model fitted with a factory raised air intake.
Safari manufactures the V-Spec Snorkel in Australia from its own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, with stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses for long term durability. The Safari Air Ram fitted to this snorkel body is engineered to remove the maximum volume of water from the incoming air stream while still delivering the maximum airflow the 1VD-FTV engine requires, and the kit is backed by a lifetime warranty.
