The Safari V-Spec Snorkel to suit Ford Ranger PX SS982HF raises the air intake to protect the engine from water and dust. It suits Ford PX-MkI, PX-MkII and PX-MkIII Ranger models fitted with the 2.2L or 3.2L TDCi diesel engine (P4AT and P5AT engines). The air ram can be rotated to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of motion, giving additional protection from the elements, and is designed to remove maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow to the engine.
Snorkel SS982HF is manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene for durability in harsh conditions. The snorkel body runs along the fender towards the front of the vehicle and does not fit vehicles fitted with EGR fender flares.
