The Safari V-Spec Snorkel to suit Toyota Hilux SS122HF raises the air intake on facelift KUN26 Hilux models fitted with the 1KD-FTV engine. It suits the 25 Series Hilux built 10/2011 to 06/2015 with the 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine, directing a constant supply of clean air to the factory air cleaner assembly instead of the lower, dust and water prone standard intake. The air ram at the top of the snorkel separates water from the incoming air stream while still delivering maximum airflow to the engine.
The snorkel body is manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, paired with stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses for long term reliability. As a V-Spec raised air intake, it is designed specifically around this facelift Hilux model and engine combination, so fitment is limited to 1KD-FTV equipped vehicles built in the stated date range.
