The Safari V-Spec Snorkel to suit Toyota Hilux SS123HF raises the air intake to deliver cooler, cleaner air into the engine. Suiting wide body SR and SR5 Extra Cab and Dual Cab models fitted with the 07/2015 onwards 2.8L diesel 1GD-FTV engine, it replaces the factory intake position to keep water and dust away from the air cleaner. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel body is built to withstand sustained off-road use.
The air ram can be rotated to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of travel, giving extra protection from the elements when driving. It also removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow to the engine. Stainless steel hardware and an EPDM moulded rubber connection hose secure the snorkel to the vehicle, and the kit is backed by a lifetime warranty.
