The Safari V-Spec Snorkel suits Toyota Prado 150 Series SS190HF is designed to suit Toyota Prado 150 Series 2.8L diesel 1GD-FTV vehicles built from September 2017 onwards, including the 2018 facelift model. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel raises the vehicle's air intake to help keep the engine supplied with cleaner, drier air when driving through dust and water crossings. The air ram removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow to the stock air cleaner assembly, and it can be rotated to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of motion for added protection from the elements.
Safari V-Spec snorkels share the look of the traditional Safari Snorkel and are built primarily for current model vehicle engines. Stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses are used in the V-Spec range to help the snorkel last the life of the vehicle. The kit is backed by a lifetime warranty.
