The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Nissan Patrol Y62 742193 is designed to deliver a huge volume of clean, cool air into the stock air cleaner assembly. It suits the Nissan Patrol Y62 Series 5 from August 2019 onwards, fitting both the 4.0 litre V6 and 5.6 litre V8 petrol engines (VQ40DE & VK56VD).
The raised air intake keeps the air cleaner away from dust, water and other harmful elements drawn in at ground level, while the air ram design acts as a water separator, removing water from the incoming air stream before it reaches the engine. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel body is built to withstand sustained UV exposure and the vibration of off-road use. The SS62HF-S5 is covered by a lifetime warranty.
