The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Jeep Wrangler JL & JT Gladiator SS1080HF raises the engine's air intake for improved protection in water and dust. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel body and air ram are built to withstand sustained off-road use. The air ram rotates to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of travel, separating water from the incoming air stream while still delivering maximum airflow to the engine. It suits Jeep JL Wrangler models from November 2017 and Jeep Gladiator JT models from April 2019 fitted with the 3.6L V6 Pentastar, 2.0L turbocharged GME Hurricane or 2.2L Multijet diesel engine, but does not suit the 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel engine.
Safari V-Spec Snorkel kits include a comprehensive fitting guide with an accurate template to assist installation, and use stainless steel mounting hardware with EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses.
