The Safari V-Spec Snorkel GM/Isuzu D-Max MU-X SS175HF delivers cool, clean air to 06/2012 onwards 3.0L diesel D-Max and MU-X engines. It also suits 2017 facelift models, raising the air entry point above ground level dust and water. The air ram simultaneously separates water from the incoming air stream, and can be rotated to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of travel for extra protection in wet or dusty conditions.

Safari Snorkel kits of this type are manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, with stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses for long-term durability. This V-Spec kit fits "wide body" Isuzu variants powered by the 4JJ1-TC engine, rated to 130kW models both pre and post facelift.
