It raises the air intake to protect the engine from dust and water, and the air ram removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow. The snorkel is manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene for durability in tough off-road conditions.
Rotating the air ram to face away from the prevailing wind gives extra protection from rain and dust in changing conditions. This V-Spec snorkel kit looks identical to current Safari Snorkel versions, supersedes the SS18HF kit, and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
