The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Nissan GU Patrol SS17HFB raises the vehicle's air intake to protect the Y61 Patrol's 3.0L diesel engine from water and dust. Safari V-Spec snorkels look identical to the current Safari Snorkel range and primarily suit current model vehicle engines. By rotating the air ram to face away from the prevailing wind or direction of motion, additional protection from the elements is delivered to the engine.
The Safari V-Spec Snorkel body is manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, with stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses designed to last the life of the vehicle. The air ram removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow to the stock air cleaner assembly, and the kit is backed by a lifetime warranty.
