The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Nissan GU Patrol SS16HFE suits the Nissan GU Patrol (Y61) Series 2 TB48DE 4.8 litre petrol engine built between 10/2001 and 12/2012. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel raises the air intake above the vehicle to deliver cleaner, drier air to the engine in dusty or wet conditions. The air ram removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow, and rotating it away from the prevailing wind adds extra protection from the elements.
Safari V-Spec snorkels feature stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses built to last the vehicle's lifetime, along with a water tight raised air intake that guards the engine against water and dust ingress. This GU Series 3 kit fits TB48DE engines only and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
