The Safari V-Spec Snorkel GU Patrol Y61 742248 is designed for Nissan GU Patrol (Y61) Series 1, 2 and 3 wagons fitted with the ZD30DDTi 3.0L turbo diesel engine. Raising the air intake above the engine bay, the snorkel draws cooler, cleaner air into the factory air cleaner assembly and reduces the amount of dust the engine ingests on unsealed tracks. The Safari Air Ram at the top of the snorkel separates water from the incoming air stream while still delivering maximum airflow to the engine.
Snorkel body and air ram are manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, with stainless steel mounting hardware and EPDM moulded rubber connection hoses for a lasting fit. The kit includes a guard panel template to assist installation and is backed by Safari's lifetime warranty on the V-Spec range.
