It raises the air intake on Mark 7 2.5L diesel models fitted with the 12V engine, delivering cooler, cleaner air to the stock air cleaner assembly. The air ram funnels clean air into the snorkel body while acting as a water separator, removing rain water from the incoming air stream to protect the engine during wet weather driving.
Safari manufactures the snorkel body and air ram in Australia from its own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, giving the unit substantial wall thickness for strength in demanding off road conditions. The kit suits UN Bravo models only and includes a comprehensive fitting guide with an accurate template to assist with installation.
