The Safari V-Spec Snorkel Mazda BT-50 742184 is a raised air intake system for the Mazda BT-50 RG04 MY21 onwards 3.0L turbo diesel (4JJ3-TCX engine). It delivers a large volume of cool, clean air into the stock air cleaner assembly by raising the air intake point to prevent the engine from ingesting harmful elements such as dust and water that a standard low-mounted air intake can draw in.
The snorkel body and air ram are manufactured in Australia from Safari's own industrial spec UV stabilised polyethylene, giving the unit the strength to handle sustained off-road use. The air ram itself uses a water separating design that removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while still delivering maximum airflow to meet the engine's air flow demands.
