The Safari ARMAX Snorkel Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series SS70HP is designed to replace the factory snorkel on Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series narrow nose models. It suits the HZJ75R, HZJ79R and HDJ79R variants fitted with the 4.2 litre 1HZ or 1HD-FTE diesel engine, specifically addressing the factory snorkel's known water sealing issues. Manufactured in Australia from Safari's own UV stabilised polyethylene, the snorkel body and Air Ram are built to handle sustained off-road use.
The Air Ram separates water and dust from the incoming air stream while delivering increased airflow to the engine compared with the factory intake. Substantial wall thickness in the moulded polyethylene gives the snorkel the strength to withstand rough terrain, and a comprehensive fitting guide with installation template is included to support fitment.
