The Safari V-Spec Snorkel to suit Isuzu D-MAX MU-X 658048 is designed, manufactured and tested in Australia for the Isuzu 2020 onwards D-MAX and 06/2021 onwards MU-X 3.0L Diesel. This raised air intake is engineered to thrive in harsh environments, delivering a consistent flow of cooler, cleaner air to the engine while safeguarding it from dust and water ingress.
The snorkel is manufactured in Australia from Safari's own Industrial Spec UV Stabilised Polyethylene, with stainless steel hardware and an EPDM moulded rubber connection hose supporting long service life. The traditional 3.5 inch air ram removes maximum water from the incoming air stream while delivering maximum airflow, and has been tested and approved on Safari's 1200CFM airflow bench to match OE air intake requirements. The unit is rated to withstand temperatures in excess of 100 degrees Celsius.
