The Ryco SynTec Oil Filter Z89AST is a premium oil filter offering superior engine filtration, interchangeable with the Ryco Z89A. Its advanced synthetic nano fibre media with mesh backing removes 99.8% of contaminants, based on ISO4548-12 testing at 16 micron on the Z872ST, helping keep engine oil cleaner for longer. The wound core cartridge is engineered to resist collapse, while low restriction to flow supports strong performance during cold starts.
Dimensions include a 95mm overall height, 93mm outer diameter and 71mm seal diameter, with a 3/4 x 16 thread fitting. The filter is engineered to withstand temperatures up to 260°C and resist chemical degradation, and a Teflon coated gasket simplifies installation and removal while sealing reliably. Ryco recommends replacement at 15,000 kilometre service intervals, and the filter carries new vehicle warranty protection.
