The Ryco SynTec Oil Filter Z516ST is a spin-on oil filter for passenger vehicle engines, interchangeable with the Ryco Z516. Reinforced wire mesh filtration media removes a minimum of 99% of contaminants at 20 micron, protecting the engine from metal particles, sludge and carbon build-up while maintaining strong oil flow. An AEM rubber gasket is built for high temperature operation, and the filter is suitable for use with all oil types.
Oil filter design on the Z516ST includes a thread fitting of M22 x 1.5, a 93mm outer diameter and a 95mm overall height, with a 71mm gasket seal diameter and an anti-drainback valve to stop oil draining from the filter when the engine is off. Ryco rates the SynTec range for a 15,000km service interval and backs it with New Vehicle Warranty Protection.
