The Ryco Oil Filter R2648P is an engine oil filter designed to capture contaminants and protect critical engine components. Ryco oil filters handle both full flow and bypass oil systems, with oil circulating through the filter media between four and five times a minute to shield bearings and the crankshaft from damaging particles. The media is selected to meet or exceed OE standards, maintaining protection across the full service interval.
The R2648P is built to withstand oil pressure levels beyond manufacturer specifications, coping with cold start surge pressures encountered in daily driving. Each filter is tested to international ISO and SAE standards in Ryco's dedicated filtration laboratory, and measures 72mm in outer diameter and 73mm in height.
