The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA423M protects vehicle occupants from airborne bacteria, viruses, pollen and exhaust gases using medical-grade filtration media rated at 99.7% efficiency at 0.3 micron. The three-layer design combines a pre-filter with anti-viral agents, an activated carbon layer to neutralise odours, and an electrostatically charged layer for optimal particle capture, all tested to ISO 11155-2:2009 standards.
Cabin air filter media of this type filters particles finer than human hair, trapping viruses and bacteria as small as 0.3 micron before they enter the cabin airflow. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded in the media prevent captured pathogens from multiplying inside the filter, while activated carbon blocks harmful exhaust gases, soot and ozone. The result is cleaner air for allergy sufferers and reduced seasonal hay fever symptoms.
Direct fit design allows installation on RCA423M applications, with Ryco recommending replacement every 15,000 kilometres or annually for optimal performance.
