The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA182M uses medical-grade filtration media to protect vehicle occupants from airborne contaminants, allergens and odours during everyday driving. The filter achieves a 99.7% efficiency rating at capturing particles as small as 0.3 micron, a size smaller than bacteria and viruses, tested to ISO11155-2:2009 standards.
The three-layer MicroShield media combines a pre-filter with anti-viral properties, an activated carbon layer for odour removal, and an electrostatically charged layer for optimal particle capture. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded in the media actively eliminate trapped pathogens and prevent their regrowth.
