The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA120M is engineered to purify in-vehicle air, protecting passengers from biological contaminants carried in outside air. Three layers of MicroShield media work together: an anti-viral pre-filter, an activated carbon layer that neutralises odours and blocks exhaust gases and ozone, and an electrostatically charged layer for particle capture. N99 medical grade media gives this cabin filter an efficiency rating of up to 99.7% at capturing airborne bacteria and viruses as small as 0.3 micron, smaller than the diameter of a human hair.
The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter also traps pollen and allergen particles, helping reduce symptoms for allergy sufferers, while anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded in the media stop trapped organisms from growing within the filter. Flame retardant media and a direct fit design make this filter straightforward to replace, with Ryco recommending replacement every 15,000 kilometres or once a year to maintain performance.
