The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA100M captures airborne bacteria, viruses and particles as small as 0.3 micron for medical-grade cabin air protection. The N99 media achieves a 99.7% efficiency rating when tested to ISO 11155-2:2009, stopping biological contaminants before they reach vehicle occupants.
Three layers work together inside the filter: a pre-filter with anti-viral properties blocks larger particles, an activated carbon layer neutralises odours and blocks harmful exhaust gases and ozone, and an electrostatically charged layer captures particles finer than a human hair. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded in the media stop trapped pathogens from growing, keeping the filter effective throughout its service life.
The MicroShield design also traps pollen and allergens to ease seasonal allergy symptoms and stops dust and dirt building up on interior vents and trim. Direct fit installation needs no modification or tools, with replacement recommended every 15,000 kilometres or annually.
