The Renogy Rover Li 40 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller RNG-CTRL-RVR40-BT is a 12V/24V auto-detecting regulator for off-grid solar systems. It uses MPPT tracking to draw maximum power from the solar array and charge the battery efficiently, while monitoring battery status in real time to guard against overcharge and overdischarge, extending battery life and improving system performance. The controller accepts solar input of up to 520W on a 12V system or 1,040W on a 24V system, with a battery input voltage range of 10VDC to 32VDC.
Multiple protections cover overcharging, over-discharging, short-circuiting, overloading, reverse polarity and reverse current, and the unit can revive deeply discharged batteries from 0V protection mode triggered by a battery management system. Rust and corrosion resistant coatings support long term reliability, and mounting brackets are included for flat surface installation. Built in Bluetooth connectivity pairs with the Renogy BT-2 module and DC Home app for remote monitoring and parameter adjustment, suiting RV, cabin, yacht and camping solar setups.
