The Renogy 500A Battery Monitor with Shunt is designed to monitor performance for most kinds of batteries, giving caravan, 4WD, marine and off-grid users a clear view of their battery bank's condition. It is a universal battery monitor that works with voltage ranging from 10V to 120V and up to 500A, suiting a wide range of lead acid, AGM, gel, lithium iron phosphate, lithium-ion and nickel-metal hybrid battery setups.
The shunt design delivers 1% accurate real time voltage and current measurement, eliminating the guesswork from battery usage and helping improve the battery bank's overall performance and longevity. Data storage capacity automatically saves the last testing data when power is off, and the backlight automatically shuts down when charging current is below 100mA, drawing only 1mA in standby. High and low current alarms flash the backlight and voltage value on screen to alert the user when a cut-off voltage is reached. The package includes the LCD interface, 500A shunt, transparent shunt holder, 20ft shielded wire and B+ wire, with the shunt holder simplifying mounting and the long shielded wire allowing monitoring from a distance.
