The Pioneer 6.8" AV Head Unit Wireless CarPlay Android Auto DMHZ6350BT is a double DIN multimedia receiver with a 6.8 inch capacitive touchscreen. Its short 87mm deep chassis suits vehicles with limited dash space, and capacitive touch buttons keep the control layout sleek. Amazon Alexa built-in lets you play music, check the news and weather, and control compatible smart home devices by voice from the dash.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both connect wirelessly or by cable, and connected services such as live weather, sports scores and an internet browser are available through the Pioneer CarAVAssist app alongside smartphone notifications on the home screen. The unit plays Full HD video and Hi-Res audio from USB, tunes AM/FM radio, and a widget based interface lets you set personal profiles for layout and favourite sports teams.
Dual Bluetooth keeps two phones connected at once, dual camera inputs support a reverse camera plus a second camera for extra visibility, and a wired remote input with 3 x 4V preamp outputs allow connection to a steering wheel remote and external amplifiers.
