The 4mm base plate provides one of the highest burst pressure rates available, ensuring the filter maintains its integrity under high compression. An AEM gasket creates a secure, heat and oil resistant seal between the filter and engine block, while a premium silicone anti-drain back seal prevents oil drain-back during shutdown.
