Penrite Demineralised water is purified water with minerals and salts removed, making it clear, clean and safe to use in situations where regular tap water could cause damage. It can be used for mixing with all types of engine coolants to help prevent scale, corrosion and unwanted chemical reactions in a vehicle’s cooling system. It can also be used as a temporary top‑up in a cooling system.
Penrite Demineralised water is also useful in lead‑acid batteries, as minerals from tap water can shorten battery life. Beyond automotive uses, demineralised water is suitable for things like steam irons, aquariums, laboratory equipment and laser cutting. It’s even good for watering indoor plants because it won’t leave mineral buildup in the soil.
