The Penrite HPR Diesel 10 Engine Oil, 10W-40, 5 Litre is engineered for modern multi-cam and multi-valve common rail and direct injection diesel engines. Penrite's semi-synthetic 10W-40 delivers a double layer of engine wear protection via a full zinc anti-wear additive pack, which creates a sacrificial layer on critical engine components against metal-to-metal contact and cold start wear.
Extra Ten technology boosts oil pressure and internal engine protection in high-temperature and severe operating conditions. Enhanced dispersant levels and low-shear viscosity modifiers combat viscosity loss, corrosion, oxidation and sludge formation for extended engine life. This grade offers greater viscosity retention and protection than 10W-30 oils, with reduced consumption on harder-working engines.
