The Nulon Red Long Life OAT Coolant Concentrate 6 Litre is a red, organic additive technology (OAT) coolant concentrate designed for vehicles that specify red or orange OAT coolant. It meets AS/NZS 2108.1:2004 Type A, GM6277M and Toyota TSK2601G specifications and is free from nitrite, amine, phosphate and silicate.
Mixed at a 50% ratio with soft or demineralised water, this coolant concentrate provides anti-freeze protection down to -37°C and anti-boil protection up to 130°C, expanding the operating temperature range of the cooling system. Its carboxylate inhibitor package delivers up to 8 years or 500,000 km of corrosion protection, whichever comes first, and is safe for use with hoses, plastics and gasket materials without becoming abrasive to water pump seals. In diesel engines it eliminates the need for supplemental coolant additives (SCA) and guards against cavitation erosion of wet cylinder liners.
This coolant suits Ford Falcon EA to EF, Holden Gen 3 and Gen 4 V8 and Alloytech V6 engines, and most Toyota, Audi, Volkswagen, Jeep, Chrysler, Isuzu, Daihatsu and Caterpillar models that call for red or orange OAT coolant. It is designed for cooling systems with aluminium radiators and components; vehicles fitted with copper or brass radiators should use a traditional green long life coolant instead.
