The Narva 12/24V 97dB Squawk Tone Reverse Alarm 72642 is designed to alert pedestrians and other road users when a vehicle is reversing. It operates on both 12V and 24V electrical systems and is certified to the SAE J994 standard, which guarantees consistent, repeatable volume output. The IP67 rated housing is fully sealed against moisture, vibration and road debris.
The reverse alarm draws just 0.3A at 12V and continues operating reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, suiting mining, industrial and on-road environments. Unlike a traditional beeper, its squawk tone is directional, so it is heard clearly by people within the hazard zone while being less disturbing to those outside it.
