The MTN Pro Plastic Primer Spray Paint 400mL is a clear primer designed to prepare polypropylene and modified EPDM plastics for top coat painting. Its special additive formulation delivers exceptional adhesion to plastic surfaces, ensuring a durable base layer that resists peeling and flaking. The primer is also compatible with acrylics, synthetics and nitro paints for flexible application options on various substrates.
Touch dry time is just 10 minutes with full cure in 20 minutes, allowing rapid recoating on the same job. The primer offers theoretical coverage of 2 square metres per can and maintains adhesion at temperatures up to 100°C once cured. For best results apply at room temperatures between 8°C and 50°C with surface humidity no higher than 85 percent. Test on plastics other than polypropylene before full application, as adhesion varies by plastic type.
