The MSA 4X4 DS50 Power Slide Fridge Slide with Table is the world's first powered drop slide, removing all physical effort to raise and lower a fridge to an accessible height. Chest-style fridges and freezers are ideal for storing refrigerated goods on Australia's rough roads, but accessing chilled food and drinks has traditionally meant manual lifting. The DS50 solves this with powerful twin 12-volt electric actuators that smoothly raise and lower the slide in just 7 seconds, controlled by buttons on the right-hand side panel.
This powered slide extends beyond the vehicle as it lowers, allowing better fridge access than traditional designs, which is especially important in wagons and utes. It shares the same compact footprint as the original patented Drop Slide, with pre-drilled holes in the tray to accommodate most popular fridge models. Built from a powder-coated steel frame with stainless steel and blue anodised aluminium fittings, it includes an integrated pull-out table built into the blue anodised faceplate for added convenience.
An emergency operating handle allows manual raising and lowering in case of electrical failure, while a lock-in and lock-out safety system keeps the fridge secure during travel.
